What is Scale and Clean?
Normal everyday brushing does remove plaque but not tartar build-up, so it’s important to have a regular professional clean. Known as a scale and polish, or scale and clean, this treatment involves thoroughly removing all plaque and tartar from your teeth. Our Dentists will recommend how frequently you need a scale and clean, but usually it is approximately one or twice a year. If you are a member of HCF these will be FREE with us!
